Peripheral Vision International (PVI) and Uganda Society for Disabled Children (USDC) have partnered to produce a Public Service Announcement promoting access to education for children with disabilities in Uganda. Inclusive education has been proved to be the best way to ensure children with disabilities are included in society, however it is not being met for the majority of CWDs in the country.
Out of the 17.7 million children in Uganda, 16% (2.8 million) are children with disabilities. (UBOS, November 2010, Uganda National Household Survey 2009/10.
