Karamoja is one region in the country with many people still stigmatising anyone with HIV according to the 2011 Uganda Demographics Health Survey and the tales of the residents.However some living with the virus are fighting back to overcome the external and internal stigma that rages on.In the first ever released report on Stigma in the country documented by the National Forum of People Living with HIV Networks in Uganda, NAFOPHANU, this problem - hinders many from testing and seeking treatment.
