The importance of regular income

Just US$8 per month or 24,000/- Ugandan shillings can provide essential help to Uganda's senior citizens. This video talks about the SAGE (Social Assistance Grants for Empowerment) programme.

The poster has commented:

A film depicting the role of Direct Income Support (also called Cash Transfers, i.e provision of small but regular, reliable and predictable cash grants to vulnerable people) in Uganda. Clearly, small regular money does wonders in transforming people's lives first, it enables them to afford basic needs of daily life and secondly, it provides them a platform to start small investments that eventually provide income security.
This programme is being rolled out across Uganda in the next 5 years.
